SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!
Inflatable Fun makes safety our first priority at EVERY event we attend. In over a decade of providing inflatable entertainment to families, churches, schools and businesses throughout Southern Illinois, we take pride in knowing that there has never been an incident in which we operated in a negligent, careless, or unsafe manner. Inflatable Fun always follows these guidelines to ensure all participants are kept safe while using our equipment:
WIND – no inflatable should be used or even set up when winds are gusting at 25MPH or greater. Inflatables can weigh up to 500lbs, but that is no match for a strong wind. Inflatable Fun will NOT set up in windy, gusty conditions and a full refund will be given to the customer.
Extra precautions are also taken on days where there is a mild wind:
- Double Stakes
- Locating the inflatable where it is shielded from the wind
- Sandbags added for weight
RAIN – no inflatable should be used or set up in the rain. The surface of an inflatable bounce house is extremely slippery when wet. This will cause any participant to slip and fall when attempting to use the unit and may cause injury. Inflatable Fun will not set up in the rain or if an evident rain storm is approaching.
- Our policy is to always work with the customer to either reschedule or refund the amount of the rental in the event of a rain-out.
LIGHTNING – no inflatable should be used or set up when lightning is present. If an electrical storm occurs while a unit is rented, the children will need to evacuate the inflatable and the power should be turned off until it has been declared clear and safe.
POWER LINES – no inflatable should ever be set up below power lines. If there are power lines running over the location of your event, Inflatable Fun will need to find a location where our equipment can be set up away from those lines to ensure safety for the kids.
In addition, Inflatable Fun has every unit inspected by the State of Illinois Department of Labor to ensure that the units meet the safety standards of the industry.
